Wishing You A Beautiful Day!

MFT-Beautiful-Day-wm

Hi everyone,

I am back again today with another MFTeasers to share with you! Today the MFT Stamps Design Team are featuring two more of the new sets that are to be released by MFT Stamps on Wednesday 7th July.

The two sets we are featuring are “Jolinne – Just For You” and “Framed Greetings Set”.

DieNamicsFramedGreetingsDie

For my card today I used the Framed Greetings set. This set consists of a die-namic frame die and a stamp set that co-ordinates with the die. There are 3 frames that work with the die and also 4 sentiments and 3 line accessory stamps that are also fun to use.

To create my card I die cut the frame using the Die-namic die from the Framed Greeting set. And then stamped the dotted frame from the set around my frame using orange ink and then my sentiment. I also used the MFT Die-namics Jumbo Scallop Die to create the border along the top of my card both on the outside and inside. To finish of the front of my card I added some of the crochet ribbon from the Crochet Ribbon Collection that I airbrushed orange to match my card.

Here is the inside of my card, this time round I just stamped the frame direct onto my white card inside my card and added the sentiment inside the frame.

Matching Up The Framed Greetings Stamps with the Die Tutorial:

Jody Morrow created a fabulous tutorial on how to match up the Framed Greetings stamps with the die, which with her permission I am posting the tutorial here for your info.

  1. Choose the stamp you want to work with
  2. Grab your Framed Greetings Die 2010_06230007
  3. Put the stamp ON the die, with the stamping image down (toward the die).  The BACK of the stamp will be UP and exposed.
  4. Manipulate the stamp until it fits well in the die.  Make sure the whole stamp is inside the blade, and that the points match up, etc.  2010_06230008
  5. Once you have it situated properly, grab your mount and press down, adhering the stamp to your block.  2010_06230009
  6. Peel off the die (it will stick a little)
  7. Now you are ready to line up your stamp with your die-cut card stock and get a perfectly matched-up image with your die-cut.  2010_06230010
  8. When I stamped, I paid special attention to the upper and lower points, and made sure to center it nicely between the 2.
